ET Deals: Dell Alienware 15 4K Gaming Laptop $1,699, Walmart GTX 1080 Desktop $1,099, Anker 20,000mAh Power Bank $36

Dell’s been running a lot of deals recently on its gaming desktops and laptops, and today is no different. The star of today’s show is Dell’s Alienware 15 that has a 4K display and a $1,200 discount in addition to its powerful processing hardware.

Dell Alienware 15 Core i7-8750H 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop ($1,699.99)

Dell designed this gaming laptop with a powerful Core i7-8750H hexa-core processor with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Max-Q graphics chip to give the computer sufficient oomph to run games over the notebook’s built-in 4K IPS display. Add to that 16GB of 2,400MHz DDR4 RAM, 256GB M.2 PCI-E SSD and a 1TB 7,200RPM HDD and you’ve got the makings of a fine gaming machine. You can get this system from Dell with promo code SAVE15 marked down from $2,899.99 to $1,699.99.

OverPowered DTW2 Intel Core i7-8700 Gaming Desktop ($1,099.00)

This gaming desktop offers high-performance hardware at an excellent price point. It features an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, 32GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 2TB HDD. Currently marked down from $1,899.00 to $1,099.00 on Walmart’s website, this completed system costs about what you would expect to pay for the included hardware. A word of warning, however, as some customer reviews have complained about this system not getting adequate airflow to keep the hardware cool. Upon inspecting the system images, this appears likely as the tempered glass case doesn’t leave much space for air to flow in from the front panel. This isn’t necessarily a deal breaker in our eyes, but you probably will want to invest in some additional case fans to help keep the components cool.

Dell Alienware M15 Core i7-8750H 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop ($1,614.99)

Sitting just below Dell’s Alienware 15, the Alienware M15 features the same Core i7-8750H processor as its bigger brother but with considerably different hardware everywhere else. This system has faster 2,666MHz DDR4 RAM and whereas the 1TB HDD is absent in this system it instead has a larger 512GB M.2 PCI-E SSD. The graphics processor used in this system is a newer GeForce RTX 2060 model that is somewhat slower than the GTX 1080 but offers innovative new features like support for ray tracing. Last but not least, the 15.6-inch display has a lower 1920×1080 resolution, but many gamers would actually prefer this screen as it supports a fast 144Hz refresh rate.

All things considered, it’s a tough selection between these two systems, which is why we have listed both of them here. Originally priced at $2,079.99, this system can be picked up from Dell for just $1,614.99 with promo code SAVE15.

Dell G7 15 Intel Core i7-9750H 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop ($1,189.99)

Choosing from amongst Dell’s on-sale gaming laptops becomes even more difficult when you add its G7 15 system into the mix. This laptop features an even faster Intel Core i7-9750H processor that can work at higher clock speeds than the Core i7-8750H that it succeeded, and the system comes with the same Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics processor as the Alienware M15. It’s other specs aren’t quite as high-end as the Alienware systems, as it has just 8GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2,666MHz and a small 128GB NVMe SSD paired with a 1TB HDD. The system’s display is also a rather plain 1080p 60Hz IPS display. The G7 15 will save you quite a chunk of change, however, as it’s marked down from $1,498.99 to $1,189.99 after promo code SAVE15.

Dell Alienware Aurora Intel Core i5-9400 Gaming Desktop ($1,342.99)

If you prefer gaming on a desktop instead of a laptop, then you might want to consider Dell’s Alienware Aurora instead of any of its aforementioned laptops. This system pairs a midrange Intel Core i5-9400 processor with an immensely powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. The system also comes with a 1TB HDD and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. This system is available from Dell for $1,189.99 after using promo code SAVE15.

Anker PowerCore Lite 20,000mAh Power Bank ($36.99)

This power bank was designed by Anker with a large capacity of 20,000mAh, and its two 2.4A USB ports are able to quickly charge USB devices. Currently Amazon is offering this battery marked down from $49.99 to $36.99.

SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB SDXC ($34.99)

Although this isn’t the cheapest 128GB SDXC card out there, it offers data transfer speeds of up to 170MB/s, which is far superior to the majority of competing SDXC cards. Amazon is offering this SDXC marked down from $44.99 to $34.99.
